The full story about Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) LED TV (U550CV-U)

By our senior writer: Jonathan Navarro

Today is a exciting day for me because I get to review the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P)! I am long time writer, blogger and reviewer Jonathan Navarro and you might know me from some of my other reviews. I've written for example about the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle Nipple, Fast Flow Nipple 6M+, 2pk, SCF654/23 by Philips and the Philips Avent Fast Bottle Warmer, BPA-Free by Philips or maybe you have heard of the editorial piece I did on the Gotham Steel Electric Smokeless Grill. Anyway, I have quite a lot experience trying out and recommending only the best to my readers. Therefore I was really happy when this product came on my path.

Since 2012 I've been watching Philips1 so I am really excited that I am finally able to try the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) and writing this review for you guys. While searching for the best deal on this product I stumbled across this offer on Walmart (You can buy it here.) and I immediately jumped on the opportunity. So I got my creditcard out and placed my order. With the standard same day delivery and free shipping it really is a bargain compared to the competitor brands and retailers. Later that day when my Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) was delivered I opened it and was overjoyed with what I saw. I might sound a bit biassed being a longtime Philips customer but this product really steps it up quite a bit, which is immediately noticeable when opening the package. Now that I've been testing it for a couple of days now I feel like I know enough about the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) to write this review. So keep reading and I will show you why I am so enthusiastic about my brand new Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P).

Best Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) LED TV (U550CV-U) deal

I always start my reviews about with a summary, then a clear list of the pros and cons after which I'll give my rating and conclusion. So as you may have understood from the intro, I am blown away by the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P). Philips has really outdone itself on this one. The quality is great, and frankly; it just looks awesome. I know aesthetics aren't everything with , but it just needs to be said. Of course the price I got at Walmart was and is unbeatable so make sure to check them out when you decide to buy one yourself. As I have tried many alternatives before, I really got to say they are no match for the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P). Just the functionalities alone beats all competitors and the durability also seems to be top notch. The customer service of Philips2 is famous for being really generous so if you ever run in to any kind of problem with their products they're always really lenient with finding a solution. Long story short; not much negative to say about the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) LED TV (U550CV-U) really. Make sure to read to the end tho because you might be in for a small surprise!

This pros list of the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) could be much longer, and is way longer than the conslist, but the description3 this site has will probably already say it all. Here is just a little piece: "". So without further ado, this is the very much incomplete list:

  1. Class
  2. The amazing looks.
  3. The quality is great.
  4. It is everything it promises to be.
  5. $299.98 is just a steal comparing to the alternatives.
  6. There is no brand like Philips when it comes to .
  7. The durability is very nice, so better for the environment.
  8. In this price range, no other product coming out will be matching the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) for a long time to come.

I had a tough time thinking of cons for the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P). Better prices are of course always nice and I don't know if you actually need this luxurious quality4. That's a thing only you can figure out for yourself. However, the list:

  1. Maybe the aesthetics of the product are not your style.
  2. It's a premium product so chances are you don't need this abundance of quality.
  3. The Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) is loved by a lot of professionals so soon everybody will probably have one.

Best Philips product in years

Considering everything I wrote before you won't be surprised that I give the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) LED TV (U550CV-U) 5 stars, 10/10 an and an A++. In reviews I've read by professionals5 saying that it's just too good to be true I found that they maybe were a bit envious of the success of Philips and they just can't comprehend the awesomeness of the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P).

Verdict and Conclusion

In conclusion, my verdict is that the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) really will make your life more fun and just better altogether. (And did I mention the resale value6 of Philips products?) I've done my utmost to view this thing from all possible angles in this piece but I see it sounds all very positive. So please read some more reviews, and you'll see that it's not me that is so enthusiast. So let me just say is that I fully, fully, recommend the Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P) LED TV (U550CV-U) for now and the future until Philips will come up with its successor. And if you are still hesitating whether you want this new Sceptre 55" Class 4K (2160P). Walmart really has a great deal on it now.
